My name is Liz Gorgoglione and I am seeking your vote to become an Alternate on the Marlborough Board of Finance. Financial accountability starts at home and financial education is the foundation to one’s personal economic success. This in turn translates into a community’s economic and financial success. I believe my background in business finance and my civic involvement with personal finance brings a healthy perspective to the Board of Finance. 

Community involvement is what makes this town a wonderful place to live! I have been a board member with the Marlborough Youth Athletic League for two years, basketball commissioner for five years, and basketball coach for the better part of 10 years. Volunteering with the United Way Women’s Leadership Council, and as a mentor for Junior Achievement has given me great satisfaction. I reside in Marlborough with Frank and my two daughters, who are in 3rd and 5th grade at MES.

 My 17 year career has been in banking/finance, specifically within the commercial credit/risk, and institutional real estate areas. Financial institutions include regional/national banks, private equity, and consortiums. My 17 year career in the banking industry encompasses private/institutional/municipal lending, asset management, commercial construction/Letters of Credit, rating agency reporting, budget development/tracking, structuring and negotiations, and federal regulatory compliance.

Bob Cindric - Candidate


My name is Bob Cindric, and I am seeking a position on the Board of Finance as an Alternate.       If elected, I will work to see that public services be distributed as necessary, with the understanding that the taxpayer base does not have unlimited resources. Keeping costs in line accomplishes that goal, while maintaining as affordable taxes as possible.

As a CPA with more than 40 year of financial management in the private sector, I have worked with manufacturers, attorneys, consultants, and entrepreneurs. In that role I have managed the accounting functions of entities whose revenues ranged from start-ups to $100,000,000.  I was part of a start-up with 7 employees, managed their financial functions as they grew to thousands of employees worldwide. In that capacity, keeping costs in line.

I can maintain perspective and look at the big picture while immersed in detail. This is so important as a member of the Marlborough Board of Finance.  If experience in the financial areas necessary to effectively manage Marlborough’s fiscal responsibilities is what you are looking for in a candidate, please vote for me on November 7th. Since 2014, I have had the privilege of serving as the President of the Marlborough Lions Club.
